Crowns and Bridges
Porcelain Crowns are strong, long-lasting ceramic sleeves that cover a decayed, broken or brittle tooth. Looking as natural as real teeth, crowns restore function and aesthetically enhance your smile by fitting precisely over a tooth. The crowns are carefully constructed to match the adjacent tooth aesthetically and ensure a correct bite.

If one or more teeth have been lost, we would recommend either dental implants or a bridge. A bridge can fill a gap of up to four teeth if there are healthy natural teeth flanking the gap. The bridge will replace your missing teeth and will appear entirely natural. A bridge is an appliance made of porcelain replacing missing teeth in the most natural way possible.

Dental Implants
Dental implants replace your entire tooth, if you have a missing tooth or teeth. Forget about dentures, unsatisfactory prosthetics or gaps due to missing teeth, Dental Implants are a strong, long-term solution. At Bruce Stevens Dental we use Nobel Biocare implants, the world’s most popular implant technology. Dr Stevens has a special interest in Dental Implants and has taken an advanced Masters course in Los Angeles specifically in the treatment of Dental Implants.

Root Canal Treatment (Endodontics)
Endodontic therapy (or root canal treatment) deals with the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of disorders of the dental pulp.

Root Canal Treatment is necessary when the nerve of a tooth (or pulp) becomes diseased or infected. If Root Canal Treatment is not performed, eventually bacteria will destroy the pulp. Previously if a tooth became infected or diseased it would have simply been removed. Today however, every possible step is taken to save all teeth and keep you with your natural teeth for life.
